You can find all AMTRAN route and schedule information by clicking here. Route and schedule brochures are available on every AMTRAN bus or you can just call us at 944-4074, Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
How do I ride for free?
If you are over 65 years of age, simply show your Senior Transit ID Card to your friendly AMTRAN driver as you board the bus. You can ride free all day, every day.
How can I get a Senior Transit ID Card?
Bring your proof of age in person to AMTRAN Customer Service at 3301 Fifth Avenue, Altoona next to Mansion Park Stadium open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Look for the red Customer Service sign. We will complete the application for you and give you your new card right away.
What if I use a wheelchair or other mobility device?
AMTRAN's buses are ramp or lift-equipped to make them accessible to people who use a wheelchair, walker, cane, or other mobility aid. They also "kneel" to make that first step a little easier.
